An explosion in a building in Verona left one dead under the rubble.

One victim has been extracted from the rubble of the apartment building in Prun di Negrar that exploded this afternoon. The man was located under the debris by firefighters, according to the Verona Municipality.

Two other men and a woman had previously been pulled out. All were injured moderately and taken to Borgo Trento Hospital in Verona.

According to initial hypotheses, the explosion was caused by a gas cylinder.
