Alex Manna's arrest has been confirmed. The 19-year-old remains in Alessandria prison, where he has been held since the evening of February 7th, having confessed to the murder of 17-year-old Zoe Trinchero .

"Serious evidence of guilt has been found, if only because he confessed," emphasizes lawyer Patrizia Gambino, "and the charge remains that of murder aggravated by trivial motives." The lawyer also announced that she has a second lawyer, Rocco Giuseppe Iorianni, of the Palmi bar, assisting her in Manna's defense.

"The colleague," Gambino reports, "attended Zoe's autopsy yesterday and will go to prison to see Manna. His parents will also visit their son in the next few days. I continue to say that this is a tragedy and that investigations are ongoing, so the matter must be handled delicately."

According to the Alessandria Prosecutor's Office, Manna also faces a real risk of escape, a factor that contributed to the decision to confirm his detention . Currently, the charge against him is aggravated murder with trivial motives, not femicide.

Meanwhile, Alex Manna's family has disappeared from Montegrosso d'Asti . The parents, well-known in the area, had lived for years with their four children just outside the town and had even run the village bar there for a time, located next to the post office. The decision to leave, keeping the location a secret, reportedly came after serious telephone threats and was dictated by the atmosphere created in the village following the teenager's murder , which occurred on the night of February 6th and 7th in Nizza Monferrato. Given the tense atmosphere in the village, the couple fears for their safety .
