Alberto Bertone, founder of Acqua Sant'Anna, has died at the age of 59. The company announced his passing with "immense sorrow," hailing him in a statement as a "visionary and courageous entrepreneur" who, with his work and entrepreneurial vision, became "a point of reference not only for his sector, but for the entire economic and social fabric of the country."
Bertone founded his company in 1996 in the Stura Valley, employing over 130 people at the Vinadio (Cuneo) plant. Under his leadership, Acqua Sant'Anna has grown into a giant with a turnover of over €350 million and approximately 2 billion bottles produced annually.
