A woman hit on the head outside the bar: 64-year-old Sardinian arrested in the Viterbo area

The 64-year-old Sardinian man who beat a 63-year-old woman in Montalto di Castro (Viterbo) was arrested on charges of attempted murder.

Last Saturday, the man was sitting outside a bar when, apparently during an argument, he hit the woman on the head using a stick taken from a planter.

The victim of the attack was rescued and taken to hospital and was then discharged with a prognosis of 40 days.

The violence was filmed by the bar's cameras, and the 64-year-old was then tracked down and arrested by the police.
