A woman found dead in a courtyard is under investigation for murder.

Investigations are underway in Milan following the discovery of the lifeless body of a young woman in her 30s.

The body was found in the courtyard of a building on Via Paruta and, according to reports, showed bruises that did not appear to be the cause of death. The victim, who was also partially undressed, was apparently unknown to the building.

The coroner, along with the Carabinieri and the forensic police, arrived on the scene. The Carabinieri are maintaining all avenues of investigation, but the most likely is homicide.
