A 15-year-old girl died and a 16-year-old was transported in serious condition by helicopter ambulance to the regional hospital of Torrette in Ancona. This is the tragic outcome of a collision that occurred around 5:45 pm yesterday in the Pace area of Tolentino.

Near the Multisala Giometti, in via Concordia, a Volkswagen van driven by a local man in his forties hit the two boys who were crossing the street at the pedestrian crossing.

The violent impact left no escape for the girl Gessica Vulpe, resident in Tolentino, who died despite the immediate intervention of the 118 paramedics : due to the impact she was thrown away about ten meters. The sixteen-year-old is not reported to be in serious condition.
