A 15-year-old girl died and a 15-year-old girl was injured this afternoon in Cesiomaggiore (Belluno) when a rock face collapsed onto which they and a third friend of the same age had climbed to take a photo.

The incident occurred in Busche, a town on the banks of the Piave River. According to reconstructions, the three climbed a slope, which then collapsed.

One of the three, who fell to the ground, was crushed by a large falling rock , killing her instantly. The third girl was unharmed. Suem 118 and the Carabinieri responded to the scene.
