A boat of migrants rescued. A sheep is also on board: it will go into quarantine

Thirteen Tunisian migrants were intercepted by a Coast Guard patrol boat in Italian waters and taken to the port of Favarolo, Lampedusa. On the small boat used for the crossing, rescue while it was adrift, even a sheep.

Upon arrival in Lampedusa, the group was taken to the local hotspot, which already hosts nearly 200 people, for the identification and registration procedures.

The animal, on the other hand, was entrusted to the veterinary service of the Palermo ASP. She will also go to quarantine and be seen by a doctor. Then it will be given in foster care.
