Serious accident in the Modena area , where a 29-year-old ended up in intensive care after falling from a skylight while trying to save his cat .
The accident occurred yesterday evening in Pavullo nel Frignano, a municipality in the Modena Apennines: the 29-year-old had reached the roof of a building near the bus station to retrieve his pet, who had wandered away from home shortly before. However, the structure apparently collapsed under the young man's weight , causing him to fall several meters.
The emergency medical service (118) immediately intervened on the scene, and the patient was then transported to the Maggiore Hospital in Bologna by air ambulance.
The 29-year-old is currently hospitalized with a guarded prognosis .
