Tragedy at dawn today on the Palermo-Sciacca road, near Giacalone.
A car was involved in an accident which killed a 20-year-old girl and a 16-month-old baby. Another girl was hospitalized in serious condition.
According to the police, there was a woman behind the wheel with a blood alcohol level above the norm.
All the people were on board a Fiat Punto. The victims are Selma El Mouakit, 20 years old, and 16-month-old Abd Rahim Gharsallah. There were also a 23-year-old and a 21-year-old in the car.
The girls had spent the night in Palermo and were returning to Partinico. Anas temporarily closed the road between the Altofonte and Giacalone exits to traffic to allow the police to carry out their usual investigations.
