A 17-year-old died last night on the border between Marina di Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi (Lucca), in Versilia, in a collision that occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on the avenue that runs alongside the sea between a scooter carrying two young men and an SUV, with Swiss plates, that had apparently made a U-turn.
The accident occurred not far from the Twiga nightclub. The occupants of the SUV, apparently three people, fled on foot.
The 17-year-old died instantly, and the other boy was taken by helicopter to Cisanello Hospital in Pisa with critical condition. The Carabinieri, in addition to the 118 emergency services, also responded to the scene to carry out investigations.
