A 15-year-old boy dies after suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch.

A 15-year-old boy died after going into cardiac arrest while playing tennis.

The incident occurred in the late afternoon at a sports facility in San Giovanni Teatino, in the Sambuceto area , in the Pescara-Chieti metropolitan area. According to initial reports, the young man suddenly collapsed to the ground. He was immediately assisted by those present, including with the use of an automatic defibrillator. Emergency services then arrived, responding with an ambulance and medical car.

The young man was taken to the emergency room in Pescara, where he unfortunately died shortly after.
