A 25-year-old man died at the San Matteo Polyclinic in Pavia after being stabbed last night in the Cattaneo parking lot, near the historic center.

The murder, which the police are investigating, occurred around 3:30 a.m. The young man, originally from Sicily, had moved to Pavia several years ago and worked in Stradella.

Based on initial investigations, the 25-year-old had reached the parking lot with two friends to retrieve his car after a night out at a club. At that point, they came into contact with another group of people. An argument ensued, and the attack followed shortly thereafter.
