His name is Bojan Panic, the 19-year-old who stabbed to death his father , Simeun Panic, a 46-year-old bricklayer, in the early hours of this morning in Mezzolombardo (Trento) .

According to an initial reconstruction, the young man's actions were triggered by yet another attack by his father on his mother . The family, of Bosnian origin, had been in Italy for many years, since Bojan was still a child. Before moving to Mezzolombardo, they lived in Lavis, also in Trentino.

The young man, who remained on the spot, was arrested red-handed for murder . It is now up to the Carabinieri to reconstruct the context of the incident, also by interviewing the 19-year-old's mother.

At the time of the murder, the woman was being attacked by her husband and the boy, who intervened to defend her with a kitchen knife, started a fight with his father that culminated in the fatal stab . She also tried to revive him, but there was nothing that could be done. It seems - according to witnesses - that it was the umpteenth attack by the man against his wife, but the Carabinieri have not filed any complaints for mistreatment .
