Mourning in the world of Italian volleyball for the death of Daniele Bagnoli, historic coach and one of the most successful coaches in our country at club level. Born in Mantua on October 25, 1953, Bagnoli wrote many important pages of Italian volleyball, tying his career in particular to the teams of Modena, Rome and Treviso with which in total he won 8 championships, a record shared with Franco Anderlini.

During his long career, the coach from Mantua was also part of the staff of the Italian national teams. "We are deeply moved to learn of the passing of Daniele, a coach who leaves a great legacy to Italian volleyball, and who with his work contributed significantly to the growth of our movement. On behalf of myself and the Italian Volleyball Federation, I can only express my deepest condolences to his family," commented President Giuseppe Manfredi.

Together with the number one of FIPAV, the vice presidents Adriano Bilato and Luciano Cecchi, the general secretary Stefano Bellotti and the Federal Council send sincere condolences to Daniele's family.
