The Italian Super Cup will have the Final Four format also in the 2025-2026 season, with two semifinals and a final. The Serie A clubs decided this, meeting today at the League Assembly.
"The Serie A clubs, meeting today in Milan, have approved the 4-team format for the next EA SPORTS FC Supercup", is the note issued by the League. In January, the last edition was won by Milan, beating Inter 2-3 in the final. The top two teams from the 2023-2024 Serie A and the Coppa Italia finalists participated .
It remains to be seen where the competition will be held: Saudi Arabia has an agreement to have two of the next four editions played in its country, but it will be able to decide in which years to host the matches. The decision is expected by the end of April .
