The first match after returning from the stop for the Clostebol case is a success for Jannik Sinner, who in his debut match at the Internazionali d'Italia immediately makes things clear and reaffirms his position as number one in the world. Success by 6-3 6-4 in one hour and 37' against the Argentine Mariano Navone, on the central court of the Foro Italico, and qualification: now he will face Jesper de Jong, who in one hour and 6' beat Alejandro Davidovich 6-0 6-2. Sinner leaves two points in the first game, but takes it anyway . The world number one cancels the first break point of the second set and recovers at 2-2, but Navone gets back ahead for the third time. From there it is a great comeback by Sinner, who goes up to 4-3 and after having cashed in the 4-4, he gets back ahead and serves for the match that ends in the best possible way, amidst the great enthusiasm of the crowd at the Foro Italico.
