The first and youngest Sardinian driver in the Italian GT Championship is only 17 years old. Lorenzo Cossu, born in Assemini, will represent SR & R.-Scuderia Ravetto & Ruberti srl in the Italian Gt 2022 Endurance class championships and will drive a Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO, a racing car with a turbo engine, 3.9-liter and 670 V8. CV.

Student of the Technical Institute "Dionigi Scano" of Cagliari with a specialization in mechatronics-energy, he started competing when he was 9 years old.

The first stage will be on May 15 at the Pergusa racetrack in Sicily, then on July 17 at Mugello in Tuscany, on September 18 at the Vallelunga track and on October 9 in Monza.

The SR&R stable was founded in 2017 by Manfredi Ravetto and Paolo Ruberti, and has its base in Verona.
