The Coppa Italia futsal finals continue in Jesi. Yesterday evening the last two quarter-finals of Serie A were played, Fortitudo Pomezia-Don Peppe Napoli and L84-Feldi Eboli. The first match saw Napoli emerge victorious 5-2; the second, which ended 15-16 after an endless series of penalties, was a match marked by the four mori with Marco Pasculli for L84 and Lorenzo Etzi for Feldi Eboli.
Etzi's Feldi prevailed, while Pasculli said goodbye to the competition but left with his head held high . "I'm very disappointed for not being able to help the boys during the penalties," said Pasculli. "My teammates played an extraordinary match, recovering twice against a very intense and experienced team. There is still regret for the epilogue but it gives us a lot of awareness of being at the same level as the top seeds in view of the championship playoffs," said the Sassari goalkeeper immediately after the challenge against the Volpi.
Now, with the exit from the cup, we return to work on the end of the regular season, but which fellow countryman will Pasculli be rooting for in the race for the title? "I honestly don't know who to choose, they are all three very strong and play in three really strong teams. I hope that one of them will lift the Cup . Maybe I would like to see Etzi on top of Italy though: he has been out for a long time due to injury and deserves such joy. In any case, I wish everyone good luck and may the best man win."
This evening, in Serie A2 Elite, another Sardinian, Jacopo Ugas, together with his Bulldog Capurso, at 6pm, will play the semi-final against Olympia Rovereto .
