Funded by the European Union with a total amount of 100 thousand euros through the Pnrr funds, the TASCLE project (acronym for Training Pathway Addressed to Support and Curricular teachers of secondary Level' school) involves ten expert researchers from the Universities of Sassari, Verona and Parma .

The coordinator is Professor Filippo Dettori , director of the course for the specialization of support teachers at the University of Sassari. Also involved in the research are Giusy Manca, Valentina Guerrini, Luisa Pandolfi and Barbara Letteri of the University of Sassari.

TASCLE aims to build a training path for secondary school support and subject teachers, which supports them in the task of promoting the inclusion of students with disabilities, specific learning disorders or special educational needs.

The project involves 300 teachers and 1,500 students from 30 lower and upper secondary schools in Sardinia, Veneto and Emilia Romagna . A questionnaire was developed and submitted online to teachers on the skills that, according to their perception, a good inclusive teacher should possess and on the training courses useful for obtaining them. Another focus is on the role of new technologies within the educational process. The research is aimed at knowing the current situation within schools, understanding what works and what doesn't work, what difficulties teachers encounter daily in implementing inclusive teaching and also in relationships with family, friends and in finding a job.

Once the questionnaires have been collected, the testing of the good practices that have emerged within the schools will begin and the results of the research will be made available to teachers through paper and digital publications.
