Edition number 40 for the international festival of polyphonic music which stops in six municipalities in Northern Sardinia. The event will be held from 2 to 10 September thanks to the organization of the Turritano Polyphonic Choir with the artistic direction of maestro Laura Lambroni.

The festival opens on Saturday at 8.30 aboard the Sara D., the ferry that connects Porto Torres with the Asinara National Park. The Turritan polyphonic choir will entertain the passengers with a concert.

On 3 September Monteleone Rocca Doria will host the Slovenian sextet Ingenium Ensemble . The Slovenian formation will be the protagonist together with the Santa Croce polyphonic choir and the Turritan polyphonic choir on 4 September in Sorso, in the church of Santa Croce.

On 5 September the location is the basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres, on the 6th concert in the community of La Crucca (Sassari) with the "debut" of the female choir "Sa Pintadera" from Oristano. On the 7th, the Littu Park in Santa Maria Coghinas hosts the Amici del Canto Sardo choir from Sassari and the Voches 'e Ammentos choir from Galtellì.

Among the other foreign guests, the German children's choir Tolzer Knabenchor (September 8 in Proto Torres). The closure of 10 September is entrusted in the morning, in the Abbey of San Pietro di Sorres in Borutta, to the Orientibus Partibus of Assisi and the Hic et Nunc of Cagliari, while in the evening in the garden of the Aragonese Tower of Porto Torres, the protagonists are the Neri per Caso , group that sings a capella and in 1995 won the Sanremo Festival in the "New Proposals" section with the song "The girls".
