The Progressives' anger is stirring the Campo largo. And while the Democratic Party acknowledges Luciano Uras's words, suggesting a coalition meeting to mend the pieces, the Five Star Movement is arguing: "They don't want their councilor anymore."

The opposition isn't mincing words. MP and FI secretary Pietro Pittalis and FdI group leader in the Council Paolo Truzzu are unsparing in their criticism: "We demand clarity."

Governor Alessandra Todde is unreachable, and the Democratic Party isn't too upset by Uras's reprimand.

"Given that Uras, president and father of the Sardinian Progressives, is in a position to say certain things, I detect from his words a malaise whose causes need to be addressed," observes Antonio Solinas (Pd).

The Five Star Movement (M5S) is less philosophical, with Roberto Li Gioi being blunt in his comments on the Progressives' leader's statements: "I don't know what a political force that openly criticizes one of its councilors, and not just now, could expect," says the Five Star Movement representative from Gallura.
