Quarries as natural theaters to host artistic, historical-archaeological and naturalistic shows and itineraries to be experienced in the sign of authentic hospitality of the residents and the rediscovery of a lifestyle based on sustainability.

All this is Cavart-Extrazioni Culrali 2022 which includes three stages with evenings where artistic performances alternate with tastings of local products: Sennori (June 19), Ittireddu (July 3) and Monteleone Rocca Doria (July 17)

The project proposed by the Girovagando association was illustrated this morning in the Chamber of Commerce of Sassari, given that the event was included in the Salude & Trigu calendar, which, as Antonella Viglietti recalled, collects all the events aimed at enhancing the territory and its peculiarities.

Cavart's artistic director, Michèle Kramers, explained: “This year we wanted to broaden the horizon of Northern Sardinia, also involving Ittireddu and Monteleone Rocca Doria. The event aims to enhance the quarry space as a theatrical place of excellence. The festival is called the festival of arts and environmental culture. We work on the issue of climate change, various activities related to the topic. We highlight the territory, even more because it will involve local realities and people. Culture as an antidote to depopulation, capable of giving new stimuli to the population ".
