Torres put on a truly entertaining first half at the "Vanni Sanna" stadium. The 2-1 win over Livorno reflected the pace of a game in which the Sassari team played better than their opponents, creating more chances, despite a less impressive second half.

The 3-5-2 formation with Lunghi and Brentan as wingers and Giorico as playmaker in front of the defence was well received , also due to the speed of counterattacks shown by Zecca and Nunziatini on the wings, with Musso acting as a midfielder and Bonin always on the move.

Alberto Lunghhi scored the first goal with an impressive run, while Antonino Musso doubled the lead. Coach Michele Pazienza was pleased: "I liked their attitude throughout the match. In the second half, they changed their formation, and it took us a while to reorganize our defense."

Torres' next opponent will be Arezzo, another team that plays in Group B like the rossoblù.
