Photographic exhibition "Soffia": an immersion in the marine world of the Pelagos Sanctuary. The Municipality of Sorso, in collaboration with the Sea Me Sardinia association, presents the photographic exhibition entitled "Soffia - Baleenwhales, dolphins (and more) of the Pelagos Sanctuary", an event for lovers of the sea and nature. The exhibition, with free admission, will be held at the Ceas (Environmental Education and Sustainability Center) of the Stagno e Ginepreto di Platamona on August 23 and 24, from 9 am to 1 pm and from 4:30 pm to 8 pm.

This exhibition, organized with the support of marine biologists from the Sea Me Sardinia Association, offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the marine species that populate the Pelagos Sanctuary, a protected marine area that extends between Italy, France and the Principality of Monaco, known for its rich biodiversity and the presence of eight different species of cetaceans. In addition to the evocative images, the exhibition includes the display of bone remains of marine mammals. In addition, films will be shown showing fin whales, dolphins and other animal species that populate the waters of the Sanctuary.

The presence of marine biologists from the Sea Me Sardinia association throughout the event will allow visitors to ask questions, making the experience much more interesting and rich. This initiative is part of the activities envisaged by the Charter of the Pelagos Partnership, an international agreement to which the Municipality of Sorso has adhered for over 10 years aimed at protecting marine mammals and promoting the conservation of their habitat. The exhibition represents an important opportunity to raise public awareness of the importance of protecting the marine environment.
