A leap back of a century, when liberty was not only an artistic style but also a way of life. The Art Nouveau Week is back, an international event involving 230 cities and in Sassari it is declined with conferences and walks in period clothes, thanks to the cultural association Quiteria.

The appointment is from 8 to 14 July as explained this morning in a press conference held in the headquarters of the municipal councilorship for culture.

The opening on July 8 in the Sassari club with a conference dedicated to three women who were also icons of style between Art Nouveau and Decò: Eleonora Duse, Luisa Casati Stampa and Edina Altara from Sassari, an artist who was a protagonist in the 1900s.

On July 11, raid on the Magellan ramparts of Alghero for the presentation of the essay Femme Fatale by Fabrizio Casu, which will then be repeated two days later in Sassari.

On the 12th and 14th, walks in the historic center of Sassari in the company of re-enactors in period dress, who will propose not only the historical excursus but also the tasting of international aperitifs and desserts in art nouveau style.

All stages will have the musical accompaniment of the Canepa choral association.
