Organized by the Santa Cecilia Polyphonic Association, the " Il Filo Rosso " musical series features a concert on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Circolo Sassarese on Via Mercato. The duo features Marco Ligas on violin and Stefano Mancuso on piano.

He then began his concert career, both as a soloist and in a duo with his brother Alessandro, a violinist. Marco Ligas was born in Turin and graduated from the Conservatory of his hometown with honors under the guidance of Professor Luigi Talamo. In 1983, he was selected to play for the European Economic Community Youth Orchestra (ECYO), conducted by Claudio Abbado.
