A rigorous archaeological investigation, but open to the active participation of the community. Everyone in Sant' Antonio di Gallura will be able to participate in the project, the age range is very wide, ranging from 15 to 93 years.

It is the cultural operation that is starting to materialize thanks to an agreement between the Gallura municipality, led by mayor Carlo Viti, and the University of Cagliari. The archaeologist Angela Antona and the researcher from the University of Cagliari, Antonio Giorri, during a public meeting, illustrated the archaeological, historical and naturalistic heritage that will be at the center of the public archeology project (contained in the agreement between the Municipality and the University ) already successfully tested by the Cagliari university.

Among the promoters, Fabio Pinna, professor of Christian and Medieval Archaeology, post-classical archeology and tourist and cultural routes, at the University of Cagliari.

This Citizen Science project involves the active participation of the community, which is essential for the historical reconstruction of the places.

The University of Cagliari will conduct a large-scale investigation which will include sites of archaeological, historical but also landscape interest, such as Santu Santinu (medieval era), Lu Naracu and the megalithic wall.
