First career pole position for Lando Norris. The McLaren driver set the best time on the Sochi circuit and will therefore start in front of everyone at the Formula One Russian Grand Prix.
Second time for Carlos Sainz's Ferrari with Ferrari, while George Russel's Williams and Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes will start in the second row.
A mistake was fatal to the world champion, which cost him the damage to the nose of the car as he returned to the pit lane, with the best time in his pocket at that moment.
