It is an initiative of the Regional Ethnographic Higher Institute through Isre Cinema. On the occasion, the short film "Sul ponte" directed by D'Orzi himself is also proposed, as a preview for Sardinia, which takes its cue from the anxieties caused by the lockdown in the most acute phase of the pandemic.
For a discussion on the themes of the films, the director general of Isre Massimo Mele , the musician Gerardo Ferrara , the lawyer Rossana Maria Offeddu , the president of Assostampa Sardegna Simonetta Selloni intervene together with the director.
“Bosnia Express”, loosely based on the book of the same name by Luca Leone, is a reflection on the causes of the war which bloodied the former Yugoslavia and which caused between 97,000 and 102,000 deaths in Bosnia-Herzegovina alone. A voiceover accompanies the journey to the lands of conflict. The conflict is relived through the impact it continues to have on women, bearers of indelible memories and memories.
