The church of San Gavino a Monti will be the venue for the second edition of the Lyric-Symphonic Concert, Friday, November 22, starting at 6:30 p.m. Organized by Sardegna Lirica, it will be a special occasion in honor of Santa Cecilia, patron saint of music, with over 25 musicians from all over Sardinia, including two solo opera singers and a solo violinist. Among the names are the violinist Greca Puddu, the baritone Gabriele Barria and the bass-baritone Roberto Dettori.

Music by Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Tchaikovsky and Sarasate have been announced . An evening that promises to be very interesting, dedicated to music and with free admission thanks to the support of the Municipality of Monti, the Fondazione di Sardegna as well as sponsors and members.

"It will be a fantastic evening, full of good music and great Sardinian musicians" , said artistic director Gabriele Barria.
