«Lussu's political action - explains Valdo Spini, president of the scientific committee of the Emilio Lussu Study Center - was closely linked to that of Carlo Rosselli in the context of "Giustizia e Libertà". His biography is legendary in many ways and still constitutes a great source of interest increased by his brilliant work as a writer. Very important - concludes Spini - was also his autonomist drive in favor of Sardinia with very current ideas and values».
