A traveling festival entirely dedicated to experimental and avant-garde sounds is back for a second installment: this Saturday, " Inaudito Errante " will return for a second installment at Spazio Opposto , the event curated by musician and producer Danilo Casti . From 7:30 p.m. , the venue at Via Martini 23 in Cagliari will open its doors for an evening featuring international guests Horacio Pollard , from the United Kingdom, and the Korean duo Mzima , based in Berlin.
Once again in collaboration with the Betty's Turqoise Chain collective, in recent years "Inaudito Errante" has toured numerous venues and meeting places in southern Sardinia, before finding a new home in the self-managed space in the Castello district for this new 2026 season . And after having opened the latter last May 9th with Artificial Bride and Silica , this time it will focus on projects coming from beyond the Tyrrhenian Sea, in a collaboration with Spaziomusica .
At 8:15 PM , Pollard will kick things off with his eccentric, musique concrète-influenced noise . Active in the field of experimental music since 2002, the Anglo-Argentine artist (real name Leon Barnett ) has released several works on numerous labels—including his own label, Neigh%Music —and has also been a member of the bands Clifford Torus and Fully Blown Dental Reform . Armed with a sampler and drum machine, Pollard unleashes surreal, raw, and deliberately comical streams of distortion, including analog riffs, hypnotic jazz cadences, and assaults of pure noise .
At 9 pm , it will be the turn of Mzima , a duo formed by South Koreans Jina Kim and Young Jun Kim , known for their unpredictable and unconventional performances, which have shaped their style over time. Singing in their native language since their debut in 2023 , using effected guitars, digital percussion, and acoustic touches made from found street objects, the two musicians move between electronic and dance sounds with an improvisational and low-fidelity approach .
