Sardinia aims more and more to attract tourists not only in the summer, but all year round. To try to be more "attractive", the orientation of the Region is to propose a type of "experiential" tourism , which can meet and respond to the numerous and different requests of travelers , looking for proposals that can also make known the great heritage cultural, archaeological, identity and food and wine of the island.
For three days, in Cagliari, from 28 to 30 October , in the scenario of the covered walk of the bastion of Saint Remy and in the garden under the walls , " Tem Sardinia 2022 " (Tourism Experience management) will take place, which includes B2B meetings between tour operators, travel agencies and companies in the regional tourist accommodation sector, meetings and conferences to promote the various territories.
Also scheduled are side events , fashion shows, with Sardinian ateliers and tailors, artistic-folkloristic and musical events and the presentation of production chains of master craftsmen.
“This is the first experiential tourism fair in Sardinia - said the regional councilor Gianni Chessa this morning in Cagliari, during the presentation - which will be organized with four different themes, with a view to seasonal adjustment. There will be over 55 tour operators from different parts of the island, 40 buyers, four of which from the United States. We focus on active tourism , on sports tourism, which is giving great results, but also on religious, archaeological and identity events . We also bet on food and wine tourism ".
