Giulia Giornaliste Sardegna also stops in Alghero on her tour to present the book-testimony "Un giorno all'Sudno". The appointment is scheduled for Tuesday 28 February at 16.30 in the conference room of the former seminary, in via Sassari, at the headquarters of the Ute, the University of the Three Ages and historical cultural institution born in the city over thirty years ago.

The book recounts the experience of 16 women engaged in various professional activities, who lived and reacted with strength and determination to the dramatic consequences of a daily life disrupted by the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic, female figures who faced difficult situations during the long lockdown, interviewed by as many journalists belonging to the Giulia Giornaliste Sardegna association.

The meeting, moderated by Caterina Fiori, will be introduced by Erika Pirina, both journalists and members of Gi.U.Li.a. After the greetings of the president of the UTE, Marisa Castellini, and of the deputy mayor of Alghero, Giovanna Caria, speeches will follow from Caterina De Roberto, deputy coordinator Giulia journalists Sardinia, Vannalisa Manca and Valentina Guido, among the co-authors of the book, conceived and published by Giulia Sardegna. Eugenia Tognotti, professor of the history of medicine at the University of Sassari, who edited the afterword of the book, also brought her contribution.

«The book tour “One day suddenly” also arrives in northern Sardinia, in a city that has been greatly affected by the pandemic from an economic point of view in a sector such as tourism that sees many women engaged. The book wants to give a voice to them and to all the Sardinian women who have "passed through the storm" so that their commitment is not forgotten», explains Caterina De Roberto.

The meeting in Alghero is organized by Giulia journalist Sardinia, in collaboration with the Foundation of Sardinia, University of the Three Ages (Ute Alghero), University of Sassari (Uniss) and Giulia national journalist.
