Ilary Blasi said this with dreamy eyes, imagining the wedding she would sooner or later celebrate with Bastian Müller and which now, after her divorce from Francesco Totti became official last July 6th, even has a date: September 13th. It will be private, away from the spotlight, the exact opposite of the first "I dos" with Er Pupone, a huge television event watched by millions of Italians.

The fairy tale

Who would have thought it, twenty years ago? Totti and Ilary, Ilary and Totti, a perfect couple, symbol of an era in which the gossip columns ruled without too many boundaries. They met in the early 2000s: he, already a Roma legend, had fallen for the young showgirl launched by "Passaparola." He courted her for a long time until she gave in. On June 19, 2005, their spectacular wedding, broadcast live in Rome from the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli. Then came their children, Cristian, Chanel, and Isabel, and for years the Totti-Blasi family was a certainty. The separation

But something breaks. First the rumors, then the denials, new rumors, and the arrival of Noemi Bocchi. In February 2022, Roma vs. Genoa was played at the Stadio Olimpico, and the flower designer, whose name had already appeared in the newspapers, was spotted in the same stands as the former Roma number ten, just two or three rows away. It was only a matter of time before the relationship with Totti was soon confirmed. From that moment, a second, much less romantic, relationship began for Totti and Ilary.

The battle

The breakup reaches the courtroom, and the children, the villa in the EUR district, the Longarina sports center, her collection of designer bags and shoes, and his infamous Rolex watches all come under scrutiny. An Italian comedy that fuels gossip, causes suffering for those directly involved, but isn't played out only in court. Ilary takes the stand, and in 2023, after months in which the marriage is subjected to scrutiny, she presents her version of events on Netflix in the documentary "Unica." The following year, she consolidates her legacy with the autobiography "Che stupida," published by Mondadori.

The new life

And then, in the midst of the storm, at the end of 2022, the first look at Bastian. Ilary is in an airport lounge waiting to board a flight when the German entrepreneur, who has no idea who he's talking to, strikes up a conversation. A love story is born, culminating in February of this year with a (gigantic) ring. And here we are again at the wedding, detailed by journalist Gabriele Parpiglia. The date is at Villa Cimbrone, a historic residence in Ravello, overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Many celebrities are among the guests, including Michelle Hunziker and Silvia Toffanin.
