The film "Il muto di Gallura" by Matteo Fresi brings the cinema "Made in Sardinia" to the Turin Film Festival from November 26 to December 4.

It is the only Italian feature film among the 12 films in competition and will be accompanied by the delegation of talents "Made in Sardinia" and by the Sardegna Film Commission.

Filmed in Sardinia, mainly in Aggius and Tempio Pausania, it is produced by Fandango and Rai Cinema.

The film revolves around the feud that took place in Gallura in the mid-nineteenth century, between the Vasa and Mamia families and which caused the death of over 70 people. In the cast, Andrea Arcangeli, Marco Bullitta, Giovanni Carroni, Syama Rayner, Aldo Ottobrino, Fulvio Accogli, Nicola Pannelli, Andrea Carroni, Fiorenzo Mattu, Felice Montervino, Roberto Serpi, Francesco Falchetto, Stefano Mereu, Noemi Medas, Adele Armas and Andrea Nicolò Bracket.

The official premiere of the film will be held on Wednesday 1 December at 7.30 pm at the Cinema Massimo in Turin. To promote the film, an exhibition will be set up with a selection of photos taken on the set by Federico Botta. The exhibition, with free admission, can be visited from November 26 to December 5 in the Con Artillery Stables / Temporary Art Center.

Elizabeth Vargiu, councilor for tourism of the Municipality of Tempio Pausania highlights "the economic impact and the visibility of our hinterland, which fascinates a lot even if it is often underestimated, but which in the director's shots has been able to demonstrate all its beauty".
