“Il muto di Gallura”, the work of director Matteo Fresi, which last autumn was presented at the Turin Film Festival, arrives in the theaters of the island on March 24 and then on March 31 throughout Italy.
Shot in Sardinia in 2020 and 2021, mainly in Aggius and Tempio Pausania, the film is produced by Fandango and Rai Cinema, with the support of the Sardegna Film Commission.
The Turin-born Matteo Fresi not only took care of the direction and the subject, but also the screenplay together with Carlo Orlando.
The role of the bandit Bastiano Tansu is entrusted to Andrea Arcangeli. The other performers are Marco Bullitta in the role of Pietro Vasa, Giovanni Carroni (Antonio Mamia), Syama Rayner (Gavina). And again Aldo Ottobrino, Fulvio Accogli, Nicola Pannelli, Andrea Carroni, Fiorenzo Mattu, Felice Montervino, Roberto Serpi, Francesco Falchetto, Stefano Mereu, Noemi Medas, Adele Armas and Andrea Nicolò Staffa.
