Cagliari is preparing for the final rush. From today to Thursday, closing at 20, the transfer market will live its final days and at the Rossoblù home they will be particularly intense hours. The main objective will be to find accommodation for Gaston Pereiro, who in this start of the season has confirmed the tactical difficulties in the approach given by Fabio Liverani, as well as those of adapting to a championship with too intense rhythms. And it is precisely to Pereiro's future that Pippo Falco 's, the first (but not the only) choice to replace the former PSV, is closely linked. But between now and Thursday there will also be hot days for Nahitan Nandez , in a last minute operation that could involve Naples or Turin.

Gaston's future

Liverani, like all his predecessors, also seems to have surrendered. And in Ferrara he sent a very specific signal to the club and the player: the Pereiro seen so far cannot be useful to Cagliari. Also for this reason, the Uruguayan remained on the bench for 92 minutes, only entering the final, almost a move of desperation, in the hope of being able to see one of his magic in recovery. No encore of Como, with Gaston who has touched a few anonymous balls. From today, the sporting director Capozucca will be at the Gallia hotel in Milan with a specific goal, to find accommodation for the player. The most interested club seems to be Verona , looking for a striker after a less than exciting start to the season. Not an easy operation, also because Pereiro brings with him a salary of 1.2 million per season until 2025 and because Cagliari wants to recover at least 4 million. But the rossoblù club maintains the dialogue also with La Spezia, trying to organize an exchange that would bring Pereiro to Liguria and the Colombian winger Agudelo (class '98) to Sardinia . Agudelo, always used by Gotti at the start of the championship, had already been followed by Cagliari in the past. Also in this case an operation that is anything but simple, again for the hiring of Pereiro, out of budget for the Ligurian club.

Revolving doors

Pereiro's position freezes Pippo Falco. Who now has the agreement for the termination of the contract with the Red Star and remains in constant contact with his former coach Liverani, who hopes to be able to have him back under his orders after the two seasons spent in Lecce. But Falco will arrive in Cagliari only in case of Pereiro's exit, provided that the Uruguayan does not go out with the exchange with Agudelo. Also because between the attacking midfielders and the outsiders, the rossoblù house is already sold out.

Leon's hours

Mezzala, attacking winger and right-back: Nandez confirms himself as suitable for all occasions. And despite the reassurances filtering from the company, in these final four days of the market, his name will be, as usual, a great protagonist. Because El Leon remains a goal of Napoli and especially of Turin and the player has not abandoned the idea of returning to play in Serie A to try to recover ground in a national key. The exit of Nandez would lead Cagliari to have to look for a midfielder (even if there is plenty in between), without abandoning the search for other reinforcements, should an unmissable opportunity arise.
