An open exchange between those who create, those who produce and those who imagine new scenarios for contemporary design. This is the spirit that animates Ied Talks, the series of meetings promoted by Ied Cagliari to explore the present – and above all the future – of creativity and design, through the voices of protagonists of the sector.

A program designed to intertwine skills and passions, stimulate debate and offer a fresh and plural look at the world of communication and design.

It starts on Wednesday 16 April, in the evocative spaces of Villa Satta, with two exceptional guests: Gianluca Vassallo, director and photographer, founder of White Box Studio, and Matteo Urbinati, design coordinator of Foscarini, a historic Italian lighting design company. Together they will explore the relationship – as delicate as it is stimulating – between designers and producers: that crucial moment in which an idea takes shape and transforms into an object, between creative intuition and industrial strategy.

The Ied Talks were born with the intention of opening the Institute to the city and creating a bridge between education, culture and territory. The meetings - free and open to all - are aimed at students, young professionals, entrepreneurs and curious citizens, interested in understanding how the world of creativity moves (and transforms) in our time.

The cycle continues on May 15 with Alessandro Tucci, media and technology expert, founder and CEO of mo2media, for an immersion in the world of entertainment and innovation.

Closing on May 29th will be Diego Fontana, copywriter and author, with a profound and very current reflection on writing in the age of artificial intelligence, starting from his book “Dalla penna al prompt”.
