Meeting in Rome between the governor Alessandra Todde and the minister for Cohesion, European Affairs and the Pnrr Raffaele Fitto.

A face to face that the president of the Sardinian regional council defined as "frank, clear and profitable".

Todde, in a video, explained that he had received reassurances from Government representative Meloni on the possibility of being able to recover the 47 million euros allocated in the old programming for the "Safe Hospitals" plan and also on the recovery of the 40 million "cuts" affected by the Island's Municipalities in the revision of the operating fund.

For both sums – explained Todde – «we have received assurances and openings to be able to recover them in our new programming lines».

At the center of the talks, Todde underlined, "is also how to ensure the financing of the Einstein Telescope project for the years to come".

The governor also hoped for greater dialogue with Rome "for greater planning and planning", something which - she concluded - during the previous regional administration "was not done in a brilliant way".

«Consistent with the regulatory provisions – we read in a joint note – President Todde and Minister Fitto also shared the opportunity to include in the scope of the Cohesion Agreement also the resources of the rotation fund already allocated to Sardinia and equal to approximately 426 million euros" .

The minister for his part expressed "satisfaction with the sharing that emerged during the meeting".

According to Fitto, the strategic lines for regional planning «are consistent with the new approach that has characterized the reform of this Government's cohesion policy and which has found full application towards the 18 Regions and autonomous Provinces that have already signed the Agreement for cohesion".
