The video traps had been hidden by Forestry investigators to uncover who was littering Molentargius Park with illegal dumping. No one, however, could have imagined that one of these microcameras would capture horrifying scenes : two dogs being tortured and, most likely, killed by a man the Prosecutor's Office now appears to have identified . The first was tied by the neck and thrown from side to side, then hit with a large rock while still in agony. The second was hanged from a beam and left there. The footage doesn't show whether the animals were killed, but—according to investigators—other dead dogs were also found in the area.
