Sassari Train To Roots, one of the most popular bands of the Italian reaggae, come out with a single after two years of silence dictated by the pandemic. The title is “Pro Tie”, a Sardinian text dedicated to parents who make so many sacrifices for their children. The images of the video clip are shot between the beaches of Li Feruli and Tinnari in Trinità d'Agultu, and mark the first collaboration with the Alghero-based audiovisual production house Roble Factory.

There is a clear return to that British reggae that inspired the Sassari band at the beginning of their career, 17 years ago. A way of "returning home" that he began to travel already in 2019 with the singles "Denaro" and "Oi", the first with text in Italian and the second in Sardinian.

Keyboardist and producer Antonio 'Papa'Ntò' Leardi explains: “Pro Tie is a song that marks the return to rhythms and sounds of our beginnings, where the British matrix of the proposed style brings to mind atmospheres like Steel Pulse as well as Third World. The lyrics are in the southern variant of the Sardinian language, phonetically very sweet and melodic ”.

In addition to Papa'Ntò and the rest of the current lineup, with Doctor Bass on bass, Stiv Man I and Jambo on guitars and Bujumannu on vocals, Lee Van Beatz on drums and Golden Pipes on winds were also added for the recording of this song. .
