Here comes the summer bonus for tourism workers.
The measure is contained in an amendment to the labor decree approved today by the Senate's Social Affairs Commission.
For the period from 1 June to 21 September 2023, workers in the tourism sector, including thermal establishments, «are recognized a sum as a special supplementary treatment, which does not contribute to the formation of income, equal to 15% of the gross salaries paid in relation to night work and overtime work ".
Money intended for private sector employees who in 2022 did not exceed the income of 40 thousand euros . The expenditure is estimated for 2023 at 54.7 million euros.
The measure, explains the executive, aims to "guarantee employment stability and make up for the exceptional lack of job offer in the tourism, accommodation and spa sector".
