Antonio Mundula (FdI) is the new president of the Health Commission of the Regional Council. The post had been vacant since July, that is, from the decadence of Domenico Gallus (Psd'Az). Since then, the parliamentarian has been led by deputy Daniele Cocco (LeU) and the election has always been on the agenda of the sessions, postponed from time to time due to the absence of a majority agreement.

Today the blitz, in which, however, the League did not participate. “We were not involved in the choice of the candidate for president,” explained group leader Dario Giagoni. Instead, the commissioners of the three parties that recently gave birth to the centrist intergroup - UDC, Forza Italia, Riformatori - and Psd'Az voted.

The election of Mundula comes as a surprise also because in less than two weeks, on October 3, thirty months will have passed since the beginning of the legislature, and therefore all the standing committees will have to be renewed.
