There's controversy in England after the first video posted on Erling Haaland's new YouTube channel garnered over five million views. In the video, titled "A Day in the Life of a Professional Footballer," the 25-year-old Manchester City and Norway striker discusses his daily routine and the pleasure of cooking—and eating—enormous steaks. He also discusses his taste for raw, unpasteurized milk, which cannot be purchased in stores or supermarkets, even though its sale is legal.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) responded by warning that it "may contain harmful bacteria that can cause food poisoning" and should therefore not be consumed by people with weakened immune systems, including those over 65, pregnant women, young children, and those with compromised immune systems. In the YouTube episode, Haaland is filmed visiting a farm in Cheshire to collect his supply of raw milk. He calls it a "superfood" that, in his opinion, is "good for your stomach, skin, bones, and muscles," adding, "That's why I drink it."

Sources close to the striker told BBC Sport that he drinks a glass every morning and another after training. Haaland believes it makes him healthier, an important attitude for an athlete at the peak of his career. Essentially, for him, it's more of a lifestyle choice than a sports nutrition choice.
