A memorandum of understanding with the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences of the University of Cagliari for research activities to learn about, study and plan ecosystem management and recovery interventions at the Gutturu Mannu Regional Natural Park .

One of the first activities will concern the monitoring of trout in the waterways present within the park. The method will be that of Citizen Science with the involvement of volunteer citizens coordinated by university researchers. The plan was approved by the park assembly together with a second project with the Municipality of Siliqua that will ensure greater usability of the Castello di Acquafredda .

The Municipality of Siliqua intends to finance the intervention by participating in the NextGenerationEU call promoted by the Ministry of Culture with resources from the European Union.

Meanwhile, the promotion of the protected area continues. The Gutturu Mannu Regional Natural Park lands at Cagliari - Elmas airport with a large backlit poster. Financed with European funds from the Regional Operational Program (POR) for the entire summer season.
