“Connected worlds”: never like this year has the theme of the Fuorisalone - the schedule of events parallel to the Salone del Mobile scheduled at the fair until April 13 - clashed with the international current events between fear of tariffs, plummeting stock markets and wars.

Yet at the same time it can be seen as a desire for reaction that invades Milan with 1300 events, from the center to the suburbs with, according to the estimates of the mayor Giuseppe Sala, 800 thousand visitors in the city.
A “call to act before it's too late” to the international climate is that of Philippe Starck who at the Brera Botanical Garden with Babinet & Co created War Flags, a political installation "to awaken consciences" with two series of ten flags and bracelets that recall the 'Hate Unlimited Korporation' organization to spread hatred in the world.
The installation is one of forty that are part of Cre-Action, the exhibition-event created by Interni in six different locations, in addition to the botanical garden, the Pinacoteca di Brera, Portrait, Eataly Milano Smeraldo, De Castillia 23 and the University of Milan. "A large Exhibition-Event that manifests itself as a choral exhibition, spread throughout the city, conceived as a laboratory of ideas, a place of comparison, in which creativity becomes a synthesis between creation and action", explained Gilda Bojardi, director of Interni and creator of the Fuorisalone in 1990.

Perhaps Bojardi did not expect the action carried out by the young Palestinians of Italy, SinCobas and other proPal who occupied the courtyard of the pharmacy of the State University with the installation 'The Amazing Platform' by Amazon in the center, which they consider "accomplice of the Palestinian genocide", with the promise of a new meeting, again in the State University, on April 9 and the invitation for the occasion to be "cumbersome".
But Fuorisalone is also a desire for lightness, and pride, so much so that among the events the Design Pride was organized, a street parade from the Castle to Piazza Affari with an unmissable party on April 9th.

And as always, the city is cloaked in new effects between iconic places and discoveries in all the districts involved : Tortona (with Tortona Rocks, Superstudio più which celebrates its 25th anniversary with an exhibition of iconic objects it presented entitled 'Unforgettable' and an exhibition linked to happiness, and also Base with the claim We Will Design), 5vie, Brera, Dropcity in the reborn Magazzini raccordati under the Central Station, but also Certosa District, NoLo, Sarpi area with the Fabbrica del vapore.

The Triennale, among others with the exhibition '"Against war. 7 designers for Emergency” and the Adi Design Museum are confirmed as elective centers of the Fuorisalone.
Fashion remains the protagonist with Hèrmes at Pelota, Loewe at Palazzo Citterio, Gucci at the cloisters of San Simpliciano, Saint Laurent in Tortona and Prada at the Central Station. Alcova's choice is different, as it did last year, it has decided to leave Milan for Brianza with four locations in Varedo: the former Snia factory, the Pasino greenhouses, Villa Bagatti Valsecchi and Villa Borsani. Here the novelty is the institution of the entrance ticket for Villa Borsani, at 25 euros, to preserve the place, selection phase and avoid queues. An initiative that does not seem to have discouraged many, given that visits for the first few days are already sold out.
