The winners of the seventh edition of the Elsewhere Festival dedicated to the writer and anthropologist Giulio Angioni were awarded in Guasila .

In the municipal auditorium, in the evening hosted by Stefania Pinna with readings by Daniela Vitellaro, the authors who most impressed the jury in the various sections of the competition were awarded : Salvina Dolores Massa with “Voltami” is the winner of the Published Fiction section, Silvia Conticelli with “Cara Sara” and Samantha Falciatori with “Un Breathe of Snow and Ash” won ex aequo in the Unpublished Fiction section, Sarah Gainsforth with “Abitare tired” and Simone Zafferani with “The Hour of Truth” the first awards respectively in the Non-Fiction and Poetry sections, lifetime achievement award to Alberto Capitta.

The literary event was held in Guasila on the initiative of the Municipality's Department of Culture and the association of Local Authorities for Cultural and Entertainment Activities which, for the past seven years, have been offering important cultural events in memory of Giulio Angioni: anthropologist, teacher university student, screenwriter, writer and poet, several times finalist at Viareggio and winner of the Mondello and Dessì Awards.

«The Festival dell'Altrove has become great and above all very original in the Sardinian panorama», was the comment of Matteo Porru, president of the Angioni Prize and artistic director of the Festival dell'Altrove.
