Pep Guardiola will not be the coach of the Italian national team. The coach communicated his decision to the Football Federation, who had recently offered him the Azzurri's leadership.

Guardiola reportedly told the Italian executives that he was very tempted, but in the end, the commitments the coach had made to his family prevailed.
